Installation Overview
The installation process involves removing the factory catalytic converter and replacing it with the BRONDEX® downpipe. During installation, the original lambda (O2) sensors, EGT sensors (where equipped), brackets, and connecting components are transferred to the new unit.

- Raise the vehicle on a professional lift.
- Remove the underbody protection panels and engine support components.
- Disconnect the factory exhaust section and catalytic converter assembly.
- Remove the oxygen (lambda) sensors and, where applicable, the OPF/GPF and EGT
- sensors.
- Detach the factory catalyst from the turbocharger.
- Transfer the required OEM brackets and sensor hardware.
- Install the BRONDEX® downpipe using the factory mounting locations.
- Reinstall all original sensors, heat shields, support brackets, and exhaust components.
- OPF/GPF-equipped models require mechanical blocking (blanking) of the OPF/GPF sensor after installation to prevent diagnostic errors.
- Perform a final inspection to ensure proper alignment and leak-free operation.
